151015-N-RN782-246: POLARIS POINT, Guam (Oct. 15, 2015) Interior Communications Electrician Kayla Gomez reports status of firefighting efforts to damage control central via sound powered telephone during a damage control training scenario onboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Oct. 15. The damage control scenario enabled Frank Cable Sailors and civilian mariners to hone their damage control techniques in a simulated environment. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
