151015-N-RN782-086: POLARIS POINT, Guam (Oct. 15, 2015) Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Christian Lopez, center, provides stretcher bearer training to Sailors and civilian mariners during damage control training onboard the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), Oct. 15. This training was just one part of an overall drill scenario that trained Frank Cable Sailors and civilian mariners in pipe patching, medical response, hose handling and firefighting dress out drills. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
