151015-N-RN782-123: POLARIS POINT, Guam (Oct. 15, 2015) Machinery Repairman 2nd Class Edward Timberlake, center, a Sailor assigned to the submarine tender USS Frank Cable (AS 40), dons a fire fighting ensemble with the help of his shipmates during firefighting dress out drill training, Oct. 15. This training was just one part of an overall drill scenario that trained Frank Cable Sailors and civilian mariners in pipe patching, medical response, hose handling and firefighting dress out drills. Frank Cable, forward deployed to the island of Guam, conducts maintenance and support of submarines and surface vessels deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility.
