An Armored Personnel Carrier from the Estonian Single Infantry Scouts Battalion provides fire support for American paratroopers from Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade as they assault an abandoned Soviet era prison during a night raid training mission held Sept. 6-7 at Rummu, Estonia. The raid was part of Steadfast Javelin II, a NATO exercise involving more than 2,000 troops from nine nations conducting various training missions across Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The exercise focuses on increasing interoperability and synchronizing complex operations between allied air and ground forces through airborne and air assault missions.
