Military personnel from at least two different nations are gathered around a detailed scale model of a facility or urban area, appearing to conduct a tactical briefing or planning session. One soldier in US Army ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is pointing at the model while others in green camouflage uniforms, bearing what appear to be Estonian flag patches, observe attentively. The setting appears to be an indoor military facility or training center.

Using a model of an abandoned Soviet era prison as a visual aid, Army Sgt. 1st Class Derek J. Ertmer (left), a Stockton, Illinois native serving as a platoon sergeant in Company B, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade briefs three Estonian soldiers from the Single Infantry Scouts Battalion about the objectives for a night raid training mission held Sep. 6-7 in Rummu, Estonia. The raid was part of Steadfast Javelin II, a NATO exercise involving more than 2,000 troops from nine nations conducting various training missions across Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. The exercise focuses on increasing interoperability and synchronizing complex operations between allied air and ground forces through airborne and air assault missions.
