Airman Daisy Rivera help her shipmate as she lubricates the interior of a jet blast deflector on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Sailors in Air Department took advantage of a no-fly day on board by performing maintenance on the flight deck and equipment. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed in the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibilities. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
