Petty Officer 2nd Class Tyler Watts reassembles a gun turret that was removed from an F/A-18E, assigned to the 'Eagles' of Strike Fighter Squadron, in the hangar bay of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. With flight operations halted for a no-fly day, Sailors on Ronald Reagan performed needed maintenance on aircraft and structural repairs. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed in the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibilities. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
