An aviation electronics technician performs maintenance checks prior to an engine test run on a EA-6B Prowler assigned to the "Cougars" of Tactical Electronic Warfare Squadron 139 on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. Sept. 19, 2008, was a designated maintenance day, leaving the flight deck available for squadron personnel to complete scheduled maintenance on aircraft. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
