Sailors from nearly every department aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan gather in either the mess decks or Chief's Mess to participate in the E-4 advancement exams. Advancement exams are designed to test each Sailor in their in rate and basic military requirements. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the 5th Fleet/NAVCENT area of responsibility. Operations in the NAVCENT area of operations are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
