A large group of military personnel in U.S. Army ACU (Army Combat Uniform) digital camouflage pattern are seated in rows, appearing to attend a briefing or formation event indoors. The soldiers are seated in chairs and on the floor in what appears to be a large hall or gymnasium. One soldier in the foreground is holding a small blue card or document.

A paratrooper anxiously waits to hear his ticket number to be called during the 16th Annual Randy Oler Operation Toy Drop, Dec. 6, at Pope Field, N.C. There were more than 500 parachutes up for the lottery. He will join 4,000 other paratroopers participating in the operation over the next few days. Hosted by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), Operation Toy Drop is the largest combined airborne operation in the world with nine countries partipating this year. The donated toys will be distributed to children's homes and social service in the local community. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Sharilyn Wells/USACAPOC(A) PAO)
