    U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne)

    Paratroopers pass the time as they wait for the doors to open during the 16th Annual Randy Oler Operation Toy Drop lottery, Dec. 6, at Pope Field, N.C. There were more than 500 parachutes up for the lottery. They will join 4,000 other paratroopers participating in the operation over the next few days. Hosted by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), Operation Toy Drop is the largest combined airborne operation in the world with nine countries participating this year.
