A U.S. Army soldier named Jackson, wearing a maroon beret and ACU (Army Combat Uniform), carries children's toys including a pink bicycle labeled 'Melody' and a large boxed toy labeled 'Maxx Power'. Several other soldiers in ACUs are visible in the background of what appears to be an indoor facility. The scene appears to be a charitable toy distribution event, likely Toys for Tots or a similar military community outreach program.

Sgt. Jermaine Jackson, Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 319th Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, brings in his donated toys for the 16th Annual Randy Oler Operation Toy Drop lottery at Fort Bragg, N.C., Dec. 6. He was the first man in line, getting dropped off at 8 p.m. the previous night and slept outside to ensure his place. Tickets are not guaranteed, but said that he wouldn't mind too much if his number wasn't called. "It's all about the holiday spirit; Santa Clause leaving boot prints; it's about giving back. It's not about the jumping or the wings," he said. Jackson had his children pick out the toys to be donated and explained the importance of giving back. Jackson participated in Toy Drop two years ago and earned Uraguay wings. There were more than 500 parachutes up for the lottery. He will join 4,000 other paratroopers participating in the operation over the next few days. Hosted by the U.S. Army Civil Affairs & Psychological Operations Command (Airborne), Operation Toy Drop is the largest combined airborne operation in the world with nine countries participating this year. The donated toys will be distributed to children's homes and social service in the local community. (U.S. Army photo by Staff Sgt. Sharilyn Wells/USACAPOC(A) PAO)
