U.S. Soldiers from around U.S. Army Europe and Africa conduct training on multiple tasks during the Expert Soldier Badge (ESB) and Expert Field Medical Badge (EFMB) event hosted by 21st Theatre Sustainment Command in Baumholder, Germany, September 2025. Expert badge testing began Sep. 15th and runs through Oct. 3rd, consisting of a rigorous train up cycle that allows Soldiers to hone in their technical mastery of weapons systems, troop procedures, and medical tasks. The 21st Theatre Sustainment Command is U.S. Army Europe and Africa's lead organization for all sustainment activities including logistics support, transportation, combat sustainment, human resources, finance, contracting and all other areas in the field of sustainment.
