Daryl Caudle, the ERC, chaired by Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON) John Perryman, creates a direct connection between senior enlisted leaders across the Fleet and the Navy’s highest levels of decision-making, and during the three-day conference, members receive briefs and work through issue papers submitted from across the Fleet. The council will meet regularly and provide readiness assessments, recommendations, and issue-focused analysis to the CNO for consideration.
