Soldiers from 2-398th Cav conduct the last Army Reserves spur ride before casing unit colors

Several Soldiers from 2nd Battalion, 398th Cavalry Regiment participated in what became the U.S. Army Reserve's last spur ride Aug. 27-29, 2026. After three days of testing, nine of them earned their spurs in a ceremony at Fort Knox that concluded with the casing of the unit's colors. The unit now falls under 100th Training Division.
