A U.S. Navy sailor in NWU Type III (green digital camouflage) uniform is holding the rope of a brass ship's bell mounted on a post, appearing to be participating in a formal naval ceremony. His name tape reads 'SILVA' and he wears a 'U.S. NAVY' branch tape along with a 'PMRF' patch and what appears to be a warfare qualification badge. A second sailor in the same uniform stands in the background.

PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY, KEKAHA (September 11, 2026) - Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Sailors stood alongside base personnel and the PMRF Fire Department today to honor the memory of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of first responders. The ceremonial bell toll served as a solemn reminder of the lives lost, the bravery of those who responded, and the enduring promise to never forget. This brief ceremony was a welcome respite from hurricane recovery efforts and reflected the resilience, service, and unity that carry PMRF forward. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain test and training range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
