A group of U.S. Navy personnel and other military members are standing with heads bowed in what appears to be a moment of silence or prayer inside a fire station bay. The setting is the PMRF (Pacific Missile Range Facility) Fire Department, as indicated by the fire truck in the background. Personnel are wearing a mix of Navy Working Uniform (NWU) camouflage and green flight suits.

PACIFIC MISSILE RANGE FACILITY, KEKAHA (September 11, 2026) - Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Sailors stood alongside base personnel and the PMRF Fire Department today to honor the memory of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001, and to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of first responders. The ceremonial bell toll served as a solemn reminder of the lives lost, the bravery of those who responded, and the enduring promise to never forget. This brief ceremony was a welcome respite from hurricane recovery efforts and reflected the resilience, service, and unity that carry PMRF forward. PMRF is the world's largest instrumented multi-domain test and training range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air, and space operations simultaneously.
