Military personnel in MultiCam/OCP camouflage uniforms are conducting a combat casualty care training exercise in a forested area. A simulated casualty is lying on a litter/stretcher while multiple soldiers attend to them near a camouflage net shelter with a tire prop. The scene appears to be a field medical training scenario, likely a tactical combat casualty care (TCCC) exercise.

U.S. Army Sgt. Mackenzie Sullivan, a military police officer assigned to the 603rd Military Police Company, 109th Military Police Battalion, holds an obstacle out of the way while her team maneuvers a simulated casualty out of a tunnel during the medical lanes portion of the Dark Knight competition held at Ādaži Military Base, Latvia, Sept. 9, 2026. The medical lanes tested each team’s ability to move, assess and treat a simulated casualty through obstacles while responding to changing conditions and coordinating a medevac. V Corps is the U.S. Army's only forward-deployed corps, serving as the senior tactical headquarters for Army forces in Eastern Europe to deter conflict and provide combat-ready forces alongside our NATO Allies. V Corps is operationalizing and expanding the Eastern Flank Deterrence Initiative with Allies, rapidly integrating emerging technologies into training and tactical plans.
