A large explosion or detonation is occurring on the open ocean surface, producing a tall column of dark black smoke rising into a partly cloudy sky. A naval vessel is visible in the background to the left, suggesting this may be a military exercise, weapons test, or controlled sinking (SINKEX) operation. The explosion appears to originate at the waterline, with debris and white spray visible at the base.
