Two soldiers in U.S. Army camouflage (OCP) uniforms are conducting a ruck march along a paved path on what appears to be a military installation. Both are wearing tactical gear and carrying large rucksacks, and they appear to be in good spirits, smiling and gesturing toward the camera. The setting includes open grassy fields, a perimeter fence, and a road consistent with a military base environment.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, U.S. Army Reserve Command hosted the Danish Flyver Ruck March at Fort Bragg. Ninety-four Soldiers from seven units across the Fort Bragg community took on the 12.4-mile course carrying 25-pound rucks.

Participating units included USARC, USACAPOC(A), XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, the 192nd Ordnance Battalion, USASOC and USAWHC.

More than a test of endurance, the march strengthened teamwork across the installation and gave participants the opportunity to earn the Danish Flyver March Ribbon and Medal. Every mile and every pound helped build a stronger, more connected Fort Bragg community.
