Two military personnel in camouflage uniforms are running or fast-walking along a road on what appears to be a military installation. Both are carrying large rucksacks on their backs, suggesting they are participating in a ruck march or physical training exercise. The setting includes a well-maintained grassy area with trees lining the road under an overcast sky.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, U.S. Army Reserve Command hosted the Danish Flyver Ruck March at Fort Bragg. Ninety-four Soldiers from seven units across the Fort Bragg community took on the 12.4-mile course carrying 25-pound rucks.

Participating units included USARC, USACAPOC(A), XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, the 192nd Ordnance Battalion, USASOC and USAWHC.

More than a test of endurance, the march strengthened teamwork across the installation and gave participants the opportunity to earn the Danish Flyver March Ribbon and Medal. Every mile and every pound helped build a stronger, more connected Fort Bragg community.
