Two military personnel in full camouflage uniforms and tactical gear are posing in a parking lot, flexing their biceps for the camera. Both are wearing rucksacks and appear to be in good spirits, likely after completing a physical training exercise or ruck march. The setting appears to be a military installation or base facility.

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, U.S. Army Reserve Command hosted the Danish Flyver Ruck March at Fort Bragg. Ninety-four Soldiers from seven units across the Fort Bragg community took on the 12.4-mile course carrying 25-pound rucks.

Participating units included USARC, USACAPOC(A), XVIII Airborne Corps, the 82nd Airborne Division, the 192nd Ordnance Battalion, USASOC and USAWHC.

More than a test of endurance, the march strengthened teamwork across the installation and gave participants the opportunity to earn the Danish Flyver March Ribbon and Medal. Every mile and every pound helped build a stronger, more connected Fort Bragg community.
