A U.S. Navy officer in white dress uniform is rendering a salute while standing on a red carpet flanked by ceremonial stanchions with decorative rope posts. The scene appears to be a formal military ceremony, likely a change of command or official arrival/departure event. An American flag is visible in the background along with additional Navy personnel in white uniforms forming a sideboy honor guard.
