Rescue Flag 26-1 gave U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 12 and Marine Aircraft Group 36 with 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, the opportunity to work with U.S. Airmen and JMSDF personnel on coordinated rescue operations to simulate realistic scenarios of pilot recovery from a downed aircraft.
