Military personnel in a hangar or warehouse setting are gathered around a table during what appears to be a food preparation or distribution activity. Several service members wearing protective aprons and green gloves are being instructed or briefed by a senior service member in OCP (Operational Camouflage Pattern) uniform. The presence of packaged food items and a cooler suggests a food service or humanitarian aid operation.

Gary Adamoyurka, Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations command mortuary affairs and honor guard program manager, describes re-icing techniques and procedures to participants during Exercise Northern Strike 26-2, at Grayling Army Airfield, Michigan, Aug. 8, 2026. Exercise NS 26-2 is a premier, joint, multinational, multi-domain military exercise hosted annually by the Michigan National Guard at the National All-Domain Warfighting Center (NADWC). It is designed to maximize combat readiness, bolster joint interoperability, and simulate realistic, high-tempo combat operations in austere and contested environments. The exercise serves as a critical testing ground for reserve and active-duty components across all branches of the armed forces and coalition partners. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt.
