YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 14, 2026) – Firefighters assigned to the Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Fire Department conduct a water hose demonstration for local high school students during the Teen Career Showcase. The event was hosted by CFAY Child and Youth Programs to introduce base youth to the training and duties required for a career in fire and emergency services. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
