YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 14, 2026) – Local high school students examine the interior details and equipment of a fire engine during the Teen Career Showcase at the Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Fire Department. Hosted by CFAY Child and Youth Programs, the program gives youth a hands-on look at the daily operations, tools, and vehicles used by installation emergency services. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
