YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 14, 2026) – Lt. Kathryn Fung, assigned to Naval Oceanography Anti-Submarine Warfare Center Yokosuka, demonstrates how to operate a handheld weather device, to local high school students during the Teen Career Showcase at Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Hosted by Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Child and Youth Programs, the showcase allows students to tour various installation departments to gain real-world career insights and explore professional paths after graduation. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
