YOKOSUKA, Japan (July 14, 2026) – Local high school students tour the offices of Naval Oceanography Anti-Submarine Warfare Center Yokosuka to learn about daily meteorology and oceanography operations during the Teen Career Showcase. The event, hosted by Commander Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY) Child and Youth Programs, connects installation youth with naval professionals to highlight diverse career paths within the Department of Defense. CFAY provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and more than 27,000 military and civilian personnel and their families.
