A construction vehicle moves soil below project area Tenmile Slough, Reach 30 Left Bank (TS30L) of the Lower San Joaquin River Project in Stockton, California on June 26, 2026. The visit allowed district leadership to engage with project delivery team members, observe ongoing work, and discuss project progress while reinforcing the Sacramento District's commitment to delivering engineering solutions that reduce risk and improve the quality of life for the communities we serve.
The Tenmile Slough, Reach 30 Left Bank (TS30L) portion of the Lower San Joaquin River project includes strengthening approximately 5,900 feet of levee through a fix-in-place design that features a cut-off wall, levee geometry improvements, and waterside erosion protection. Construction is expected to be completed November 2026, helping reduce flood risk for surrounding communities.
