U.S. Army Soldiers Sgt. First Class Benjamin Robeck and Staff Sgt. Benjamin Varley with the Minnesota National Guard’s 55th Civil Support Team set up a technical decontamination line at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Duluth in Duluth, Minnesota, June 10, 2026. The decontamination line is a critical capability that allows the team to safely remove hazardous materials from first responders and equipment after operating in a contaminated area. The 55th CST participated in an interagency exercise to test the response to a simulated radiological threat in a maritime environment. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Master Sgt. Megan Shaner)
