MAKEMO, French Polynesia-- Marines from the 4th Civil Affairs Group and a member of the Pacific Response Group set up supplies for a food and water distribution event during Exercise Marara 26, June 9, 2026. Marara 26 is a French-led multinational exercise in French Polynesia that enhances interoperability and strengthens humanitarian assistance and disaster response capabilities among Indo-Pacific allies and partners.
