Navy Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Jay P. Esguerra, U.S. Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command, Hawaii, receives the 2025 MHS Enlisted Leadership Excellence Award for vanguard non-commissioned officer at the 2026 Military Health System Conference in Dallas, Texas, May 28.
Dr. Stephen Ferrara, former principal deputy assistant secretary of war for health affairs, and Navy Command Master Chief Jerry Cantorna, U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, presented the award.
