    U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District project managers lead Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Lee Forsgren by ongoing work to install the upstream approach walls for the Chickamauga Lock Replacement Project during a visit to the project April 30, 2026. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District is constructing a 600-feet long and 110-feet wide on the Tennessee River in Chattanooga, Tennessee, that will handle nine barges per lockage, an increase in efficiency of 800%.
