260312-N-AT886-1193 PENSACOLA, Fla. (March 12, 2026) Sailors use a defibrillator in a code blue scenario where a patient has undergone cardiac arrest during an Advance Life Saving (ALS) class at Naval Hospital Pensacola (NHP) on March 12, 2026. Code blue training serves as an ultimate test of a Sailor’s lifesaving capabilities, in this high-stakes drill, part of the ALS training at NHP. By simulating these drill scenarios, Sailors are medically and operationally ready as they are prepared to lead and function within a resuscitation team in any environment.
