    CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 9, 2025) Aviation Boatswain Mate (Handler) 1st Class Joseph Theriault, from Portland, Maine, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28), shoots an M18 pistol during a small arms live-fire qualification course on the flight deck. Fort Lauderdale is underway with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group on their scheduled deployment in the U.S. Fourth Fleet area of responsibility.
