    CARIBBEAN SEA (Sept. 8, 2025) Lt. Gen. David L. Odom, director for operations, Joint Chiefs of Staff, thanks Capt. Jiwan Mack, commanding officer of the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28), and Cmdr. James McQuiniff, executive officer of the Fort Lauderdale, for their hospitality during his visit. Fort Lauderdale is underway with the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group on their scheduled deployment in the U.S. Fourth Fleet area of responsibility.
