250801-N-OV429-1001: NEWPORT, RI (August 1, 2025). Hospital Corpsman First Class Anthony Alfredo presented the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal by Capt. Rona Green, Commanding Officer, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England during awards quarters, Aug. 1, 2025. Hospital Corpsman First Class Alfredo served as Leading Petty Officer for the Directorate for Administration from August 2023 to August 2025. Hospital Corpsman First Class Alfredo lead 23 staff members in the effective management of a myriad of administrative requirements, resulting in the timely submission of correspondence with minimal delays. Additionally, he led seven sailors in the processing of 42,600 laboratory rests for ten officer accessioning evolutions contributing to the timely accession of 1,000 naval officers. As Command Equal Opportunity Manger, he advised two Commanding Officers and spearheaded the execution of two command climate assessments, lowering risk factors across the command by 20 percent. By his noteworthy accomplishments, perseverance, and dedication to duty, Hospital Corpsman First Class Alfredo reflected credit upon himself and upheld the highest of traditions of the United States Naval Service.
