250801-N-OV429-1002: NEWPORT, RI (August 1, 2025). Hospital Corpsman Third Class Brett Abraham was presented the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Capt. Rona Green, Commanding Officer, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command New England during awards quarters, Aug. 1, 2025. Hospital Corpsman Third Class Abraham performed 8,000 dental radiographs, contributing to a 93 percent operational readiness across 51 tenant commands. He aided the Medical Homeport Department by assisting eight providers in the completion of 3,740 patient encounters, 32 wellness exams, 65 well-child, 230 special physicals, and 15 surgical procedures resulting in enhanced patinet care delivery. As the Junior Enlisted Association Public Affairs Officer, he coordinated three events fostering camaraderie amngst the junior enlisted, improving unit cohesion and retention. Hospital Corpsman Third Class Abraham's professionalism, unrelenting perseverance, and dedication to duty reflected credit upon him and were in keeping with the highest of traditions of the United States Naval Service.
