U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, biologist and invasive team member, Chelsea Bohaty searches for swamp eels in the shallow edges of a lake in Orlando, Fla., as Florida Fish Wildlife Conservation Commission, biologist, Theodore Lange carefully maneuvers the craft. Swamp eels are not only invasive but also evasive. The electroshock stuns the eels for a short amount of time. They often burrow themselves in the banks of lakes and ponds, making it challenging to capture them and manage the spread of this problematic fish. (U.S. Army photo by Brigida I. Sanchez)
