201011-M-UV498-1380 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 11, 2020) – U.S. Marines with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, walk across the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) toward MV-22 Ospreys with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 164 (Reinforced), 15th MEU, in preparation for planning and coordination of forward command element operations.
