U.S. Marines with II Marine Expeditionary Force and planners from the Norwegian Armed Forces conduct small group discussions during bi-lateral planning on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 24, 2019. “We have had very good days so far,” said Lt. Col. Geir Husby, chief of operational planning with the Norwegian Army. “We have done initial briefings and have conducted case studies which have been well prepared by my Marine Corps colleagues.” II MEF hosted the bi-lateral event with Norwegian Army and Navy representatives to conduct detailed planning while developing and iterating Norwegian defense procedures.
