Acting Secretary of the Army, Ryan D. McCarthy presents a coin to Sgt. 1st Class Steven Bell, assigned to Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve (CJTF-OIR) for his contributions to the defeat ISIS mission, during a visit to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Sept. 21, 2019. Bell, native of Bradenton, Florida, is currently assigned to the Engineer Directorate as the operations Noncommissioned Officer. CJTF-OIR‘s primary mission is the defeat of ISIS in designated areas of Iraq and Syria and sets conditions for follow-on operations to increase regional stability.
