Two military soldiers in full combat gear are deploying concertina (razor) wire in a grassy field, likely during a training exercise. Both soldiers are kneeling and handling a coil of barbed wire together, with additional wire already stretched in the background. The setting appears to be a military training area surrounded by trees.

Sgt. 1st Class Darryl Skelley and Spc. James Maus, both from the 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga., stretch concertina wire around an area during the occupy and defend scenario Sept. 11 during the Army Ammunition Transfer Holding Point Team of the Year competition at Fort Pickett, Va. Teams established a field ATHP within a support area to provide ammunition resupply operations and defended the ATHP. ATHP started Sept. 9 and ran through Sept. 13. Teams of five Soldiers, from 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Cavalry Division, were assessed on ATHP operations and associated tasks that facilitate the receipt and transfer of ammunition.
