Military personnel in camouflage uniforms are deploying concertina (razor) wire in an open grassy field during what appears to be a training exercise. A soldier in the foreground is handling the coiled wire while wearing protective gloves, with additional soldiers and military equipment visible in the background. The setting appears to be a military training area surrounded by pine trees.

Sgt. 1st Class Darryl Skelley, ammunition specialist, 75th Ranger Regiment, Fort Benning, Ga., stretches concertina wire around an area during the occupy and defend scenario Sept. 11 during the Army Ammunition Transfer Holding Point Team of the Year competition at Fort Pickett, Va. Teams established a field ATHP within a support area to provide ammunition resupply operations and defended the ATHP. ATHP started Sept. 9 and ran through Sept. 13. Teams of five Soldiers, from 75th Ranger Regiment, 10th Mountain Division, and 1st Cavalry Division, were assessed on ATHP operations and associated tasks that facilitate the receipt and transfer of ammunition.
