A U.S. Marine in desert MARPAT camouflage uniform is handling an M16/M4-style rifle, positioning it vertically on sandbags during what appears to be a demonstration or ceremony. An audience of fellow Marines in similar desert camouflage uniforms is seated and standing in the background. The setting appears to be a forward operating base or training facility in an arid desert environment.
