U.S. Army Master Sgt. James Skinner, the Task Force Maverick operations sergeant major, balances eggs on the head of U.S. Army Capt. Joseph Spangler during the TF Maverick Spur Ride Feb. 21. While waiting for their turns at the different stations, candidates did not rest. They would run in place, do pushups, and conduct rifle drills or various other tasks until it was their turn.
