The image shows military Humvees (HMMWVs) operating on a sandy terrain, with one vehicle towing a military boat. The vehicles are painted in desert tan/beige camouflage and bear U.S. Navy markings. The scene appears to be a military exercise or logistics operation near a shoreline or beach area.

A Humvee from Beach Master Unit 1st Detachment Western Pacific (BMU1DETWESTPAC) gets towed out of the sand by a lighter amphibious resupply cargo (LARC) vehicle. The amphibious ready group is underway to support Cobra Gold 2012, the exercise consists of multinational training events executed annually and held throughout the Kingdom of Thailand. Exercise Cobra Gold is the largest multilateral exercise in the Asia- Pacific region, offering more than 20 participating countries opportunities to improve interoperability.
