U.S. Marines attached to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force play soccer as a way to unwind and strengthen interpersonal relationships with members from the Guatemalan special forces on Nov. 27. Events such as these are designed to further strengthen existing partnerships with the host nation. SPMAGTF is participating in Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012, an annual deployment of SMEE teams sent to U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility.
