    A member of the Guatemalan special forces leads Marines attached to Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force through the jungles of Puerto Barrios to search for vegetation that can be consumed to sustain life Nov. 28. This subject matter expert exchange on jungle survival tactics were given to show U.S. Marines how Guatemalan special forces survive in the jungle with the absence of traditional packaged food. SPMAGTF is participating in Amphibious-Southern Partnership Station 2012, an annual deployment of SMEE teams sent to U.S. Southern Command's area of responsibility.
